Recharge: My Plant-Based Protein Switch
With so many protein powders out there, it can get tricky trying to decide which one to incorporate into your diet. A lot of protein powders tend to throw in a bunch of unnecessary and not-so-good-for-you ingredients. I try to stick to plant-based foods as much as I can, so when I heard about Orgain Protein, I was so excited to try it out!
I love starting my day off getting the protein that I need, so I typically put my protein in oatmeals and smoothies. I just throw in a scoop and top it with some yummy fruits and other healthy toppings. Orgain Protein makes me feel so recharged, which is so important as I tend to have a pretty busy schedule that requires me to be “on” all day. Their organic ingredients are no joke and it has added superfoods. When you have a protein powder that includes chia seeds, amaranth, buckwheat and quinoa among many others, you know it’s good!
When 2018 came around, I set an intention to be conscious of how I’m nourishing my body and making sure that what I eat is real.
