My Everyday Matcha Latte
“Matcha all day every day” could easily be my life motto. So many of you ask how I make my matcha lattes and I am honestly shocked that I have not yet done this blog post already! The following recipe is perfect for the “Matcha first-timers” as well as for the “Matcha-regulars.” I recently started keeping a ton of Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen in my drawer at work, as I found it to be the easiest and fastest product to make the perfect matcha latte anywhere, anytime. I love it so much because not only is it matcha, but it also has collagen, which has been so kind to my nails, skin and hair. I highly suggest purchasing two of these- one for home and one for work! I’ve already posted my Matcha Protein Smoothie recipe, which is another everyday drink for me.
Here’s my simple (like, SO simple) everyday matcha latte recipe:
- 1 scoop of Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen (this is serious gold)
- ½ cup of hot water
- ½ cup of almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
- 1 spoon full of honey (I like to use Philosophie greenbee superfood honey)
Directions: Heat up the half cup of water. Pour in the scoop of matcha. Stir. Pour in the milk. Stir. Heat up to your liking. Add in honey. Stir. Drank.
